Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to join our team in Columbus, OH. You will design, deploy, and manage MECM/SCCM and Intune configurations, build images, deploy apps, and implement baselines and security standards across devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years in endpoint configuration engineering (SCCM/InTune focused).
• Experience supporting SCCM environments post go-live and HP Device Manager.
• Ability to administer JAMF Pro Cloud Server for Apple devices.
• Familiarity with ITSM systems like ServiceNow and PowerShell/SQL scripting.

A major client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a skilled and proactive Endpoint Engineer to support and optimize their Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage endpoint configurations across SCCM (MECM) and Microsoft Intune
• Build, maintain, and optimize workstation base images (OS, drivers, and core applications)
• Create and manage application packaging, deployment, and update strategies across platforms
• Coordinate and deploy applications ensuring all devices receive the updates based on the active users in the system
• Develop and implement configuration baselines, compliance policies, and security standards
• Leverage scripting (PowerShell) and automation tools to streamline endpoint management
• Monitor environment health and generate reports on compliance, patching, and system performance
• Collaborate with other teams and vendors to develop and implement new solutions to meet business requirements, Documentation
• Ensure project completion by assessing and engaging additional support teams including but not limited to internal areas as well as 3rd Parties
• Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials where needed
• Provide after hours support as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 4-6 of experience in endpoint configuration engineering (SCCM/InTune focused)
• 4-6 years experience providing application support in complex business environments, including a mix of SaaS, Hybrid and On-premise installations
• Prior experience with continued support of SCCM environments post go live Experience with HP Device Manager
• Ability to administer JAMF Pro Cloud Server for the management and deployment of applications to all Apple devices
• Experience provisioning and supporting virtual desktops
• Ability to administer and troubleshoot Microsoft workplace applications
• Basic understanding of certificates and certificates issued by authorities
• Familiarity with ITSM systems like ServiceNow or others
• A solid understanding of PowerShell, SQL, and other basic scripting and query languages
