Job summary

MBTA seeks an Endpoint Technology Analyst to implement, support, and maintain endpoints across facilities, including computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and A/V equipment. The role emphasizes endpoint setup, Microsoft Intune, and device rollout with field work at MBTA locations.

This term-limited contractor role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least two days per week and travel to MBTA sites.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in endpoint management, deployment, and support.
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune or equivalent endpoint management (e.g., SCCM, Jamf).
• Experience with peripheral devices and A/V systems.
• Basic networking knowledge and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the physical setup and configuration of endpoints for large-scale deployments.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, staging, and delivery of endpoint hardware and accessories.
• Install and configure software, operating systems, and security settings.
• Troubleshoot endpoint hardware and software during deployment and ongoing use.
• Enroll and configure endpoints in Intune and other management systems.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and troubleshooting to end-users at various worksites.
• Travel to MBTA locations to support rollout, configuration, and maintenance.
