Job summary

MBTA seeks an Endpoint Technology Analyst to lead the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of endpoints across field deployments. You will manage devices, software, and security settings, coordinating with vendors for procurement and staging.

The role requires building strong rapport with frontline workers, traveling to MBTA sites, and delivering efficient endpoint experiences while collaborating with IT, operations, and training teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in endpoint management, deployment, and support.
• Ability to travel to MBTA worksites, offices, and locations.
• Proficiency in Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune or equivalent endpoint management systems (e.g., SCCM, Jamf).
• Experience with peripheral devices and A/V systems.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on frontline workers.

Responsibilities

• Execute the physical setup and configuration of endpoints (computers, tablets, smartphones, peripherals, A/V equipment).
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, staging, and delivery of endpoint hardware and accessories.
• Install and configure necessary software, operating systems, and security settings.
• Troubleshoot endpoint hardware and software issues during deployment and ongoing use.
• Manage endpoint inventory and track device lifecycle.
• Enroll and configure endpoints in Intune and other endpoint management systems.
• Provide user support and troubleshooting for endpoint management issues.
• Develop and maintain endpoint management documentation and procedures.
• Support connectivity for endpoints (wired, wireless, cellular) and coordinate with networks/carriers.
• Train employees on endpoint usage and best practices.
• Travel to MBTA locations to support rollout and maintenance.
