Job summary

Ashland University is seeking a Desktop Engineer to optimize desktop and endpoint operations across a diverse IT environment. You will create Windows and Mac images, manage devices with Intune, Autopilot, and JAMF, and strengthen security with NIST-aligned practices.

You will collaborate with IT peers, security teams, and client services to ensure reliable, scalable deployments and effective patching. A hybrid work model and opportunities for remote work are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and deploy Windows and Mac images.
• Manage endpoint devices with Intune, Autopilot, and JAMF.
• Oversee MDM practices for secure enterprise devices.
• Administer Active Directory, Entra, and Azure environments.
• Support Hyper-V and server infrastructure.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Respond to user tickets and document policies and procedures.
• Mentor junior IT staff and collaborate with security and networking teams.
