Job summary

Austin Community College is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to manage, automate, and support enterprise endpoint environments across the college. The role blends systems administration, automation, and security to deliver a stable, modern endpoint computing environment for faculty and staff.

The engineer will own deployment, configuration, lifecycle management, and integrations with ITSM tools such as TeamDynamix, supporting ACC’s mission of reliable technology and student success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL, customer service practices, relational databases, and CAD software.
• Ability to understand and document technical procedures and configurations.
• Experience with scripting or programming and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise endpoint environments using management platforms.
• Automate deployments, patching, and endpoint compliance with scripting.
• Integrate endpoint tools with ITSM platforms like TeamDynamix and others.
• Manage device lifecycle from onboarding to decommissioning and asset tracking.
• Provide Tier 3 & 4 support and escalation for endpoint issues.
• Collaborate with IT security, support, and stakeholders to drive process improvements.
