Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, Ohio is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support patient care in the endoscopy department under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This full-time role operates on a 12-hour day shift and offers opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized health system.

You will assist with prep, maintenance and cleaning of endoscopy equipment, process tissue specimens, ensure the GI suite is clean and well supplied, and serve as an informal resource for

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalency required.
• Previous patient care experience and/or health-related education preferred.
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal relations.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, maintain and clean equipment and supplies for endoscopic procedures.
• Assist in performing invasive endoscopic procedures.
• Process tissue and bodily fluids specimens.
• Maintain GI procedure area in a clean, safe condition and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures.
• Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
