Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, Ohio is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support patient care in the endoscopy department under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalency required.
• Previous patient care experience and/or health-related education preferred.
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal relations.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and clean equipment and supplies for endoscopic procedures.
• Assist in performing invasive endoscopic procedures.
• Process tissue and bodily fluids specimens.
• Maintain GI procedure area in a clean, safe condition and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures.
• Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
