Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Surgical Technologist to support the Digestive Health Center and endoscopy team. You will assist with patient care, prepare instruments, reprocess endoscopes, and ensure sterile technique.

Multiple shift options are available, including 8-, 9-, and 10-hour shifts, with sign-on and relocation bonuses for qualified candidates. Strong teamwork and adherence to infection control are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, hand/eye coordination, infection control knowledge.
• Independently scrubs basic surgical procedures.
• Applied basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and pharmacology for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assists in supplies and equipment coordination to maintain efficiency.
• Collects data on assigned patients as directed by RN.
• Documents in patient records as directed by standards.
• Maintains sterile environment and separates clean/dirty areas.
• Communicates effectively with team members and patients.
