Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to provide clinical support in the Digestive Health Center. You will assist with patient care, obtain specimens, and help physicians with instruments while reprocessing endoscopes.

The role supports the endoscopy team and requires strong infection control and teamwork. Multiple shift options exist, including 8-, 9-, and 10-hour shifts, with sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Qualifications

• Formal training in surgical technology and perioperative care.
• Ability to work in an endoscopy setting with sterile technique.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and infection control principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organization and coordination of supplies and equipment.
• Collect data and document nursing/unit performance as directed.
• Maintain aseptic environment and proper instrument handling.
• Assist providers with procedures and specimen collection.
• Reprocess endoscopes and assist with room turnover.
