Job summary

Duke GI-Endoscopy at Brier Creek in Raleigh seeks a Surgical Technologist to support preoperative and intraoperative care, maintain sterile technique, and assist the surgical team in endoscopy procedures across age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT or NBSTSA).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establish sterile field and maintain sterile environment during procedures.
• Prepare operating room with appropriate instrumentation and supplies.
• Perform instrument counts and ensure patient safety before and after procedures.
• Take calls and rotate shifts as needed under supervision.
