Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking an Endoscopy Scheduler/Patient Navigator to coordinate patient access to endoscopy services from referral through procedure completion. You will be the primary contact for patients, offices, physicians, and internal teams, ensuring timely scheduling, communication, and completion of pre-procedure requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in healthcare administration, business, medical office administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling, patient access, patient navigation, referral coordination, insurance authorization, medical office operations, or related role preferred.
• Experience with EHRs, scheduling systems, insurance verification, and referral management preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, privacy regulations, and customer service principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient access to endoscopy from referral through procedure completion.
• Serve as the primary contact for patients, provider offices, physicians, and support departments.
• Schedule outpatient and inpatient endoscopy procedures; manage calendars and room utilization.
• Coordinate pre-procedure testing, clearances, reminders, and recall programs.
• Identify barriers to care and collaborate with departments to reduce delays and cancellations.
