You're a valued member of a supportive organization that invests in your growth, encourages professional development, and empowers you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and communities every day.As the Endoscopy Manager, you'll provide clinical and administrative leadership for the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care throughout the endoscopy patient experience, including pre-procedure preparation, procedural care, recovery, discharge, and endoscope reprocessing. You'll lead daily operations, support physicians and staff, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, and promote exceptional patient outcomes while maintaining operational excellence within Endoscopy Services.What You'll DoProvide operational and clinical leadership for all Endoscopy staff, including Endoscopy Registered Nurses, GI Technicians, Endoscopy Support Staff, and Endoscopy Scheduling Staff.Oversee daily endoscopy operations across pre-procedure, procedure, recovery, discharge, and endoscope reprocessing areas to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.Coordinate staffing, scheduling, assignments, competency validation, on-call coverage, performance expectations, and workforce development initiatives.Ensure physicians and procedural providers have the personnel, supplies, equipment, room availability, and departmental support necessary to perform procedures safely and efficiently.Monitor patient flow, procedure schedules, room utilization, recovery progression, procedure delays, cancellations, and operational performance metrics.Oversee procedural quality, medication safety, specimen management, infection prevention practices, emergency preparedness, and patient safety initiatives.Ensure proper endoscope pre-cleaning, leak testing, manual cleaning, high-level disinfection or sterilization, drying, transport, storage, traceability, and documentation in accordance with manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements.Monitor patient outcomes, safety events, near misses, patient concerns, infections, medication variances, transfers, and procedural complications while leading appropriate follow-up and corrective actions.Maintain compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, infection prevention requirements, and manufacturer guidelines.Coordinate equipment maintenance, inspections, repairs, service agreements, replacement planning, and supply management activities.Lead department quality improvement initiatives, performance improvement projects, and regulatory readiness efforts.Foster strong communication and collaboration among physicians, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, sterile processing personnel, registration staff, and supporting departments.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsCurrent unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure.Demonstrated knowledge of endoscopy patient care, procedural workflow, staffing, physician support, infection prevention, endoscope reprocessing, equipment management, and regulatory requirements.Strong communication, team leadership, conflict-resolution, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Knowledge of procedural services operations, patient safety principles, quality improvement methodologies, and healthcare regulatory standards.Ability to effectively lead teams while promoting accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.Preferred QualitiesMinimum three years of progressive experience in endoscopy, perioperative services, procedural nursing, or a comparable clinical environment.Previous leadership, supervisory, charge nurse, or management experience.Experience with accreditation readiness, infection prevention, quality improvement, and procedural services management.Experience managing staffing, scheduling, productivity, physician relationships, and departmental operations.Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.Specialty certification in gastroenterology nursing, perioperative nursing, or nursing leadership LicensureCurrent Registered Nurse license required.Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field preferred.Current BLS certification required.ACLS certification preferred.Specialty certification in gastroenterology nursing or nursing leadership preferred.Minimum three years of progressive endoscopy, perioperative, or procedural services experience preferred.Previous leadership
