Job summary

SCA Health in the United States is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy to join our perioperative team. You will develop and implement individualized perioperative care plans, manage anesthesia recovery, and ensure instrument readiness and patient safety across GI/endoscopy procedures.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable. GI/OR nursing experience is preferred, highlighting teamwork, safety, and patient advocacy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• One year GI, OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Administer medications safely using the 8 rights of medication administration.
• Maintain endoscopy instruments and accessories in working order.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and ensure patient safety.
• Provide education to patients and families about perioperative care and recovery.
• Transfer care with accurate hand-off reports and document care thoroughly.
