The role requires one year of RN experience, graduation from an approved nursing program, and active Texas RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications; responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, education, and team coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program.
• One (1) year of RN experience.
• Current Texas (or BNE Compact State) RN license, BLS, ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the patient's health status on admission and monitor intraoperative status.
• Develop and communicate care plans; prioritize intraoperative nursing care.
• Provide safe intraoperative nursing interventions and document actions.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Supervise and direct patient care assignments; ensure proper supplies for procedures.
