Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced RN to provide nursing services in care and treatment of patients. The role operates under supervision of a physician, APP, and/or nursing leadership, with a 0730-1600 shift, Monday-Friday, and on-call responsibilities.

The position requires graduation from an approved nursing program and an active Texas RN license, with a minimum of one year of RN experience; GI Lab/Endoscopy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program and licensed in Texas.
• One year RN experience; GI Lab/Endoscopy preferred.
• Current BLS; ACLS certifications; Texas license (NLC) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient health status and plan of care.
• Provide intraoperative nursing care and communicate with team.
• Supervise and coordinate patient care assignments as needed.
• Prepare for procedures and ensure equipment readiness.
• Deliver patient education and maintain accurate documentation.
