Job summary

AMSURG is seeking an experienced RN to supervise and deliver patient care in the endoscopy suite. The role requires leadership, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with the surgical team and patients.

Responsibilities include coordinating nursing activities, ensuring privacy and dignity, and maintaining accurate documentation pre-, intra-, and post-procedure. Requires active RN license, BLS/ACLS, IV and EKG certifications, and strong ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED (minimum requirement).
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• RN with active license in appropriate state.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• IV Certification.
• EKG Certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs patient care in an endoscopy room.
• Organizes nursing activities efficiently and effectively.
• Maintains patient’s privacy and dignity.
• Explains procedures and care to the patient.
• Provides continuity of patient care by communicating with perioperative staff.
