Job summary

AMSURG is a nationwide leader in ambulatory surgery center management. We seek a registered nurse to support endoscopy and perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing education, an active RN license (DE), at least 1 year of ambulatory surgery experience, CPR and ACLS/PALS certifications as required, and solid computer skills for charting and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• RN with active license, no restrictions (DE).
• One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• CPR certification and/or ACLS-PALS certification (as required by Center).
• Strong ethical and moral character references.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and procedures of the Center.
• Uses equipment effectively following manufacturer’s instruction for use.
• Uses proper techniques and procedures according to accepted standards of practice.
• Organizes nursing activities efficiently and effectively.
• Continuously assess and monitors the physical and emotional status of the patient and documents and reports per policy and procedure.
• Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide safe continuity of patient care.
