AMSURG is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for pre, intra, and post-procedure care in Endoscopy. The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care across prep, procedure, and recovery, following nursing processes and Center policies.

Scope includes patient assessment, plan of care, medication administration, and post-anesthesia recovery. Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, active RN license without restrictions, and 1 year of ambulatory surgery experience.

Qualificações

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• RN with active license, no restrictions.
• One year of nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory surgery.
• CPR certification and/or ACLS-PALS certification (as required by Center)
• Strong ethical and moral character references
• Basic computer skills

Responsabilidades

• Follows all policies and procedures of the Center.
• Organizes nursing activities efficiently and effectively.
• Assess and monitor patient status and document per policy.
• Provide care in pre, intra and post-procedure areas.
• Administer medications per physician orders and document appropriately.
• Monitor recovery from anesthesia and prepare patient for discharge.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for safe continuity of care.
• Ensure sterile technique and proper aseptic practices.
