Job summary

AMSURG is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care in the Endoscopy Center. The Staff Nurse will deliver direct patient care, follow nursing processes, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient endoscopy procedures.

The role requires RN licensure without restrictions (DE), a nursing graduate, and BLS/ACLS certifications as applicable, with strong communication and clinical skills for ambulatory surgery settings.

Qualifications

• RN with active license with no restrictions (DE).
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• CPR and/or ACLS-PALS certification as required by Center.
• Basic computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the nurse role across pre, intra, and post-procedure stages.
• Assess patient status using nursing process and develop/adjust care plans.
• Document care accurately and maintain patient privacy and dignity.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient endoscopy procedures.
• Assist with supplies, medications, and equipment inventories per policy.
• Demonstrate aseptic technique and infection control in all procedures.
