Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN with two years in Endoscopy or four years GI nursing with management experience.
• RN license in the applicable state; BCLS and ACLS required; CGRN within two years; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs bronchoscopy technologists, nurses and support staff to provide high-quality endoscopy services.
• Ensures procedures are performed with age-appropriate patient care and compliance with hospital guidelines.
• Oversees staff training and scheduling to maintain a qualified, safe patient environment.
• Collaborates on department budget, equipment purchases and care decisions with management.
• Maintains patient education objectives and addresses complaints to sustain quality care and service.
• Directs staff to support Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
