Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Nurse Manager at Bridgeport Hospital to lead the Endoscopy department team, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient operations. You will supervise Endoscopy nurses, coordinate resources, and drive performance improvements within a patient-centered environment.

The role requires RN licensure in Connecticut, BCLS certification, and 3–5 years of leadership experience in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• RN with CT licensure and BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire.
• Minimum 3–5 years in assigned specialty with leadership experience in clinical care management.
• Experience in program development or participation and in materials management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Endoscopy Department nurses and staff to ensure clinical and service excellence.
• Oversee patient flow, scheduling, and resource deployment for Endoscopy services.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and operational policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., JCAHO readiness).
• Prepare daily assignments for EDT, RN, and Business Associates; monitor budgets and supply needs.
• Address patient and staff concerns; promote quality improvements and best practices.
