Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an experienced nursing leader to manage an endoscopy department. The role includes coordinating patient care, staff hiring and development, budgeting, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate on care plans and department operations to maintain high-quality outcomes in a specialized hospital setting. The position requires RN licensure with a nursing diploma/associate degree and 2-5 years of nursing experience, plus leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; RN license required.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience with less than 2 years of supervisor experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
• Assist in developing departmental staffing and budgets, ensuring adherence to financial and operational goals.
• Oversee patient care, ensuring interventions are age-appropriate and properly documented.
• Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
• Monitor staff productivity, approve payroll, reconcile time cards, and manage staff communications and scheduling, including overtime and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct performance reviews and recommend improvements to enhance department efficiency.
