Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented front desk/clerical professional to support the DeKalb Endoscopy Center in Decatur, GA. You will check patients in, collect payments, update records, and coordinate with nurses.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or the equivalent; ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform data entry and update patient records.
• Willingness to cross-train on additional endoscopy center tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and alert nurses of arrivals.
• Collect and post payments per front desk procedures.
• Update patient information in Centricity system.
• Restock supplies and maintain a neat patient area.
• Answer phone calls and relay messages to the appropriate party.
• Assist with admission/discharge procedures as directed.
• Cross-train to perform other endoscopy center tasks.
