Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Patient Service Center associate in Atlanta to support office staff, physicians, and management with clinical and clerical tasks related to patient care. You will schedule patients for procedures, manage test results, and handle inquiries with HIPAA-compliant care.

The role requires adapting to a fast-paced environment and maintaining accuracy in documentation. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of specialty clinical experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–3 years of specialty clinical experience preferred (gastroenterology).
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and able to operate healthcare system and multiple Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments including Endo procedures.
  • Obtain results for lab or radiology procedures and communicate to physicians/patients as needed.
  • Provide information regarding medical treatment or procedures to patients.
  • Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person with HIPAA compliance.
  • Assist with prescription refills requests and provider approvals.
  • Support staff and management with clerical and organizational tasks.
