Job summary

a-teamdentalstaffing Santa Rosa endodontic practice is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the friendly first contact and coordinator for patients from their initial call through treatment completion.

You will manage appointments, verify insurance, present treatment plans, collect payments, and coordinate with referring dentists. The role supports clinical staff, maintains records, and ensures a welcoming, efficient front office environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental front office experience (endodontic experience a plus).
• Knowledge of insurance verification and benefits coordination.
• Comfortable presenting treatment plans and financial arrangements.
• Experience with dental software (PBS Endo experience preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator is the welcoming face and voice of our office, ensuring patients have a smooth, informed, and positive experience from their first call through completion of treatment. This role combines administrative excellence with compassionate patient communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
• Answer phone calls, schedule consultations and treatments, and manage the office calendar
• Coordinate with referring general dentists and specialists for patient care continuity
• Verify PPO insurance eligibility and benefits for endodontic procedures
• Present treatment plans, explaining procedures, costs, and payment options clearly and confidently
• Collect and post patient payments accurately
• Maintain and update patient records in PBS Endo software
• Utilize Weave for patient communication and appointment reminders
• Support the clinical team and ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
