Job summary

Willamette Valley Endodontics in Salem, OR is seeking an experienced Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join our front desk team. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and explain treatment costs, aiming to deliver compassionate, efficient care.

This full-time role requires at least 2 years of dental front-office experience, proficiency with dental software, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year of dental Patient Care Coordinator or administrative experience is required.
• Proficiency with dental software
• Experience with dental insurance verification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of dental insurance & billing and healthcare policies (HIPAA)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliability and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule and manage patient appointments
• Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing
• Verify and process patients’ dental insurance
• Review treatment plans, insurance, and out-of-pocket costs with patients
• Collect patients’ co-insurance at time of service and after service when necessary
• Enter patient information accurately into practice management software
• Coordinate appointments and dental record transfers with referring practices
• Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area
• Collaborate with clinical staff and doctors to ensure seamless patient care

This is a full-time Patient Care Coordinator position with a schedule of: WEEKLY ROTATING SCHEDULE - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY WITH AVAILABILITY FROM 6:30 AM TO 5 PM!
