Job summary

Ascension Harcourt is seeking an Internal Medicine physician for a busy outpatient practice in Indianapolis, IN. The employed position offers a strong referral network and the full resources of a large nonprofit health system.

You will provide comprehensive longitudinal care, teach interns and residents, and manage a practical daily patient volume while maintaining work-life balance through a traditional schedule and limited on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine (Indiana license required).
• Advanced Life Support preferred. (AHA/ARC accepted).

• Maintain work-life balance with own call responsibility limited to Monday through Thursday, a manageable 1:5 weekend rotation, and only one required holiday per year
• Practice setting: Outpatient
• Opportunity to utilize your procedural skills by performing small, in-office procedures such as punch biopsies and minor lesion removal.

• Deliver high-quality clinical outcomes by managing a manageable daily volume of approximately 20-22 patients, ensuring every individual receives the time and attention they deserve.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
