Job summary

MFM Health is seeking a Patient Care Representative for our Endocrinology department in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, and coordinate hospital and clinic procedures while maintaining accurate records and ensuring privacy.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in ambulatory/outpatient care, endocrinology experience preferred, and strong communication and multitasking abilities in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in ambulatory/outpatient practice preferred.
• Endocrinology experience preferred.
• Desire dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and friendly candidates.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and families; scheduling appointments and hospital/ambulatory admissions.
• Schedule Endocrine procedures (Thyroid Biopsies, Cortisone Stimulation Test).
• Review endocrinologist's schedule and confirm follow-up appointments.
• Communicate with the Endocrine Team; answer calls promptly and route messages.
• Schedule future appointments, tests, and referrals as ordered by physician.
• Manage patient records requests and prepare charts for visits; ensure records available.
