Job summary

The Endocrinology department at MFM Health is seeking aPatient Care Representative to support our busy ambulatory care offices in diagnosing and treating diabetes and related conditions. The role emphasizes excellent communication, multi-tasking, and strong patient service in a high-volume setting.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in ambulatory care, endocrinology familiarity, and proficiency with EMR systems (Athena).

Qualifications

2 years of experience in an ambulatory/outpatient setting preferred.
Endocrinology experience preferred.
Desire dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and friendly candidates.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and families, schedule appointments, and coordinate hospital/ambulatory admissions and procedures.
Schedule Endocrine procedures (Thyroid Biopsies, Cortisone Stimulation Test).
Review endocrinologist's schedule and ensure follow-up appointments are arranged.
Communicate with the Endocrine Team and handle calls promptly and professionally.
Prepare and provide patient charts/records for visits; obtain and verify patient information.
