Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification in CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC desirable.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Experience with patient registration and front-office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assures completeness of procedures and treatments and supports patient flow.
• Maintains EMR and performs front-office tasks as needed.
• Performs registration and scheduling activities per procedures.
• May perform computerized physician order entry when directed.
• Precepts MA team members or externs as requested by leadership.
