Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers, coordinate patient care, and assist with clinical procedures. You will welcome patients, collect histories, and help with exams and testing in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires completion of an MA program or equivalent credentials; EMT/Paramedic training is a plus. Day shift, full-time employment with comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; MA program/externship preferred.
• Completion of an MA program and externship/internship is preferred.
• EMT or Paramedic training is beneficial and may be required.
• Credentialed MA certifications (e.g., CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC) are valued.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
