Job summary

UNC Health Care System's UNC Medical Center Endocrinology Clinic in Chapel Hill is seeking a Clinical Support Technician II to assist clinicians, transport patients, set up rooms and handle a range of clerical and basic clinical tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, NC Nursing Assistant I/II licensure, BLS, and at least one year of clerical or customer service experience plus nursing assistant exposure. It is a full-time, on-site position with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience.
• Nursing Assistant I/II certification as per NC DHHS.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with routine examinations and procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Review patient care documentation and report significant changes to a RN or physician.
• Provide clerical tasks: organize workload, greet visitors, review and transcribe orders, maintain medical records.
