Job summary

The role includes basic clinical care under supervision, inventory management, and patient education support, with a Monday–Friday, 8a–5p schedule and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher-level degree may satisfy this requirement.
• Nursing Assistant I/II licensure as per NC DHHS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year clerical or customer service experience; three months nursing assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with exams and procure equipment and supplies.
• Review patient care documentation and report changes to a nurse or physician.
• Handle clerical tasks: organize workload, greet visitors, review and revise orders.
• Provide admin support including PI audits and data entry.
• Provide clinical support: transport, cleaning, equipment maintenance, and orientation.
• Provide direct patient care per plan of care, including vital signs and basic tasks.
• Reinforce patient teaching and distribute educational materials.
