Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Training, HR, or related field.
• 8+ years in training and development with 4–6 years as a trainer on technical projects and 0–2+ years in a management/lead role.
• Experience designing, executing, and evaluating training programs for technical applications with strong needs assessment and curriculum development.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of trainers with coaching and observations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex concepts to varied users and write clear training materials.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities; willing to travel 40–75% of the time.
• Current secret security clearance (active within past 24 months).

Responsibilities

• Govern the overall training strategy for mission-critical systems, including needs assessment and learning roadmaps.
• Design blended training programs (classroom, virtual, e-learning) to drive system adoption.
• Mentor a team of trainers and conduct train-the-trainer activities and calibration sessions.
• Create and maintain training materials (lesson plans, curricula, SOPs, guides, exercises, job aids).
• Implement evaluation methods, analyze results, and recommend content and delivery improvements.
• Coordinate with leaders, analysts, application owners, and SMEs to prioritize topics and plan deployments.
• Oversee travel planning and training logistics, including trainer schedules and budgets.
• Define trainer expectations and provide feedback to ensure quality and policy compliance.
