Job summary

ASM Research seeks an End User Training Lead to drive the organization’s training and learning portfolio for mission-critical systems. You will lead needs assessment, align learning objectives with business goals, and prioritize programs that support tool adoption in a federal IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years in training and development or related roles, including 4–6 years as a trainer on technical projects.
• Experience designing, executing, and evaluating training programs for technical applications.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of trainers and provide coaching.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Govern the overall training strategy for mission‑critical systems.
• Design and oversee blended training programs (classroom, virtual, e‑learning).
• Mentor a team of trainers and manage train‑the‑trainer activities.
• Create and maintain training materials (lesson plans, curricula, SOPs, guides).
• Implement evaluation methods to measure training effectiveness and improvement.
• Coordinate with business leaders and SMEs to prioritize topics and plan deployments and conferences.
• Oversee travel planning and training logistics and budgets.
• Define trainer expectations and ensure compliance with standards.
