Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking an experienced End User Services technician to install, modify, or repair desktop and mobile IT and provide first-level support across systems, software, hardware, and peripherals. This role requires on-site work and travel between sites.

You will handle move/relocation projects, document tasks, and contribute to process improvements. A 2-year technical degree or related experience in technology or service desk is preferred, with a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2 year technical degree program or a bachelor’s degree in health information management, information technology, or a healthcare/health sciences discipline at an accredited school OR 2 year work experience including related experience in technology or Service Desk support.

Responsibilities

• Serving as primary contact point for computer users questions/problems; researching and developing solutions to complex issues and requests; moving existing and installing new/upgraded end user equipment and applications; troubleshooting and repairing complex desktop and mobile hardware and software; participating in planning of major move/new facility installation projects; performing administrative/documentation tasks; assisting with internal process improvement initiatives; on-site work and travel between sites; routes more complex problems to third level support.
