Job summary

RTX Corporation (old) in Cambridge, MA is offering a co-op position targeted at students pursuing Cybersecurity or Computer Science. You will assist with installing, repairing, upgrading, and backing up IT systems, coordinate telephone installations and removals, and set up AV equipment for conference rooms to support collaboration.

Ideal candidates are actively pursuing a bachelor's degree with hands-on experience in Mac/PC hardware, Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory, plus familiarity

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
Experience with Mac and PC hardware, and Windows/macOS/Linux environments.
Experience using MS Office Suite and Outlook.
Foundational networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).

Responsibilities

Perform installations, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks.
Handle telephone installations and removals.
Set up Audio/Visual equipment for conference rooms.
Troubleshoot a variety of software and hardware issues.
Resolve moderately complex technical problems.
Maintain and update hardware and software asset inventories.

Education

Bachelor's degree student in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/MIS or related field
