Job summary

Dollar Tree IT Services in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an IT hardware technician to install, configure, maintain, and move a wide range of company devices across the Chesapeake area and field locations. You will support desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and iPads, while assisting software installation and end-user issues.

You will document incidents in ServiceNow, resolve hardware and software problems, and coordinate with Facilities for physical moves.

Qualifications

Education: HS Diploma; an Associate's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting end users with hardware and software; network experience required.
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, install, maintain, and move IT hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners) and iPads for Chesapeake and field associates.
Provide user software installation, removal, maintenance, and support; assist with applications programming and enterprise end-user communities.
Log and manage incidents in ServiceNow; ensure SLAs are met and document tickets.
Perform second-level support and coordinate with Facilities for equipment moves.
Suggest procedural improvements to increase IT efficiency and reliability.
