Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an IT User Support Analyst II in Oak Ridge, TN to provide end-user technical support for desktops and standard applications in a Windows environment. You will assist with lifecycle management, cybersecurity, documentation, and user training for onsite and remote users.

You will support Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and other business apps, and participate in IT projects and knowledge-sharing initiatives while traveling up to 10% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT end user support experience beyond educational requirements.
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I and II support for onsite and remote users.
• Support Windows operating systems and Office 365 and other business applications.
• Diagnose and resolve issues using remote support tools and best practices.
• Assist with endpoint lifecycle management including deployment, upgrades, and data migration.
• Support cybersecurity threat remediation and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in IT projects and maintain technical documentation.
