Job summary

AMETEK’s Advanced Measurement Technology (AMT) seeks an IT Support specialist to deliver Tier I/II end-user support for Windows, Microsoft 365, and business apps. You will deploy systems, install software, and migrate data while maintaining endpoint lifecycle and cybersecurity standards.

You will participate in IT projects, create documentation, and assist training efforts. Occasional travel to onsite/remote users up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT end user support experience beyond educational requirements.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I and II technical support for onsite and remote users.
• Support Windows OS, desktop apps, and business apps via phone, in person, and remote support.
• Diagnose and resolve issues using remote tools and troubleshooting best practices.
• Support Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Reader, Java and other business apps.
• Provide support for mobile devices, including iOS.
• Assist with system deployment, software installations, upgrades, and data migration.
• Maintain endpoint lifecycle management from deployment through disposition.
• Help identify and resolve cybersecurity threats and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in IT projects, document technical steps, and support training activities.
• Travel onsite/remote users up to 10% as required.
