Job summary

The Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) seeks an End User Computer Coordinator to provide technical support for computer hardware and software across assigned agencies in Chicago. You will diagnose issues, manage AD interfaces, and coordinate small to medium deployments while aligning with DoIT standards.

Essential duties include user collaboration, ticket monitoring, and training on hardware/software, with ongoing professional development to stay current in IT.

Qualifications

• Requires four (4) years of college with coursework in computer science or related fields.
• Requires one (1) year of professional experience in client services or related IT field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computer hardware and software for assigned agencies, including AD integration and software applications.
• Diagnose and resolve computer system problems and coordinate small to medium hardware/software deployments.
• Collaborate with users to determine needs and ensure compatibility with standards.
• Monitor incident tickets and ensure timely break/fix services within service levels.
• Train customers on installed hardware and software and assist with network/server peripherals.
