Job summary

Joe Johnson Equipment (JJE) in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Sales Administrator/Coordinator to support the equipment sales cycle by creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders. You will coordinate with Inside and Outside Sales to manage orders end-to-end.

The role requires MS Office skills, CRM experience, and familiarity with vehicle and equipment registrations. You’ll prepare quotes, enter orders, maintain production status, and generate sales reports while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in an Inside Sales role or a related Sales Administrator position.
• Experience using MS Office Suite, with a focus on Word, Excel and Outlook
• Previous experience completing vehicle and equipment registrations, title transfers, and plating through the Secretary of State or similar regulatory agencies
• Experience using internet research tools
• Experience working with tenders an asset
• Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales process, considered an asset
• Mechanical aptitude or previous exposure to a heavy equipment work environment is an asset

Responsibilities

• Liaison with Equipment Manufacturers for order entry and production planning
• Provide timely quotes to ensure the accuracy of cost sheets
• Enter orders for all new unit sales orders
• Document and maintain tracking of unit sales to monitor production status
• Utilize CRM to file documents and track customer and sales history
• Collaborate with Logistics to coordinate Freight traffic as required
• Coordinate and track compliance paperwork for fleet additions, renewals, and regulatory updates
• Prepare sales reports, presentations and participate in other project work as assigned
• Provide general administrative support as required for various team members
• Manage vehicle and equipment registrations, title applications, and plating through the Secretary of State
