Job summary

Teague in Seattle, WA is seeking a Procurement Agent to drive end-to-end purchasing, from requisitions to Accounts Payable. You’ll forecast demand, assess vendors, maintain inventory, and resolve discrepancies while building strong vendor relationships to support project execution.

You’ll work with Shipping & Receiving, Accounts Payable, and external vendors. The role emphasizes autonomous, detail-oriented collaboration to ensure timely delivery and accurate procurement records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive vendor relationships while providing a high level of customer service.
• Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively, with a solution-oriented, analytical approach to problem solving.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to prioritize competing requests.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail with the ability to compile data and prepare reports.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; working understanding of basic accounting principals and processes.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand with internal teams to maintain inventory levels that support project execution.
• Evaluate vendor pricing, quality, and service to ensure competitive terms.
• Identify and resolve vendor issues, including damaged, delayed, or back-ordered goods.
• Investigate and reconcile purchase order and invoice discrepancies with vendors and Accounts Payable.
• Gather purchasing and inventory data and prepare reports to support planning and decision-making.
