Job summary

Potelco, Inc., Sumner, WA-based, seeks a Procurement Project Manager to join the team. You will liaise between estimators, project managers, and vendors, sourcing and validating material pricing during bids and managing purchase orders through completion.

In this newly created role, you will shape procurement processes, build vendor relationships, and help deploy an end-to-end workflow with IT and Contracts to improve efficiency across projects.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related project coordination role.
• Ability to work independently in a newly created function with latitude to define how the work is done.
• Strong interpersonal and vendor-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Bid-phase sourcing and pricing: gather scope, quantities, and specifications to solicit quotes.
• Purchasing and order management: issue, track, and manage purchase orders; ensure timing.
• Vendor relationships and process development: define requirements for procurement workflow; build templates and processes.
