Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Development & Ventures to drive the company’s inorganic growth strategy. You will own M&A execution end-to-end, independently sourcing and evaluating deals and managing them through LOI, closing, and integration with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, HR, Product, Engineering, and Leadership.

You will partner with the Sr. Director and VP on high-stakes transactions.

Qualifications

• Has 4-8 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Venture Capital.
• Experience running deal workstreams and owning transactions end-to-end with autonomy.
• Ability to engage credibly with technical leaders while maintaining business perspective.
• Strong judgment under time pressure and incomplete information.
• Direct, low-ego, and accountable with a focus on outcomes—not process.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and run a pipeline of M&A and investment opportunities through LOI.
• Build and pressure-test valuation, structure, and strategic rationale with senior leaders.
• Coordinate multi-functional input to move deals from LOI to close and integration.
