Job summary

McCownGordon Construction seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large projects from start to finish on site in Texas. You will oversee preconstruction, budgeting, procurement, and risk management while building a high-performing project team and strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities include developing project plans, managing schedules, controlling costs, and ensuring safety and quality across all phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Proven leadership and project management experience leading large projects or multiple teams.
• Strong budget management, cost forecasting, and risk mitigation skills.
• Excellent client relationships and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Leads large projects or multiple project teams from start to finish with little oversight and accountability for project success.
• Develops and mentors project managers and team members to build leadership capability.
• Oversees preconstruction, planning, budgeting, procurement, and risk management for assigned projects.
• Manages client relationships, communications, changes, and issue resolution at the project level.
• Owns project schedule, cost controls, and safety performance, including weekly look-ahead schedules and field documentation.
