ECS seeks a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Baton Rouge, LA. You will support enclosure consulting projects through field investigations, testing, and report preparation, collaborating with experienced consultants to deliver practical solutions.

The role offers hands-on field experience, mentorship, and opportunities for technical growth within a collaborative team focused on quality and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering (NCARB).
• 2+ years building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx) or design review.
• Licensure or certification preferred: PE, RA, IIBEC certifications (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBECxP), or UW–Madison BECxP/CxA+BE.
• Knowledge of building science, building enclosure systems, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform building science testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and building enclosure systems.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing observations and results; assist CAD work as needed.
• Maintain familiarity with codes (IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, CSI).
