Job summary

Southern Oklahoma Ambulance Service is seeking a full-time Basic EMT in Ardmore, OK. You will operate an emergency medical vehicle, deliver urgent care, and transfer patients to medical facilities.

Compensation includes $14.00 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid upfront and $1,000 relocation assistance for moves into the service area. 24 on/48 off shifts, full benefits, and additional pay opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• EMT certification and Oklahoma EMS license required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates an emergency medical vehicle.
• Lifts, carries, and transports patients to medical facilities.
• Provides emergency medical treatment to patients.
• Communicates with treatment facility staff for instructions.
• Examines patients to assess illness or injury.
• Administers first-aid according to protocols.
• Inspects vehicle equipment and replenishes supplies.
