Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age or older.
• Oklahoma EMT certification required or maintained.
• National Registry EMT certification required or maintained.
• Oklahoma driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in 3 years.
• CPR credentials as per American Heart Association.
• Hazardous Materials (first responder level) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide ethical, professional patient care and ensure safe transport.
• Follow EMSA medical protocols and directives from Medical Director.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to OSHA and infection control policies.
• Complete verbal and written incident and injuries reports as required by policy.
• Maintain and inventory emergency equipment and ambulance readiness.
• Adapt to varying shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
