Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Henderson, NV is seeking a Plasma Center Medical Support Specialist EMT-B to apply clinical assessment and donor care skills in a fast-paced donation center. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor safety, and support lab and center operations under physician guidance.

The role requires EMT licensure (B, A, I, or P) or RN/LPN/LVN with CPR/AED, plus 2 years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduate with state requirements.
• Licensed or certified in the applicable EMT level or nursing license as listed.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and informed consent, medical history, and physical exam.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for complex medical or technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health processes as applicable.
