Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduate may be required.
• Current state licensure as EMT-B/A/I, Paramedic, LPN/LVN or RN.
• CPR and AED certification; ability to meet FDA training requirements.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, and self-exclusion.
• Conduct medical history interviews, exams, blood testing, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies and transport.
• Refer to Center Physician/Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu) for employees.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance; assist as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
